I’m a fine artist specializing in oil paintings of the underwater world.

Joyful Enriquez (b1987) is a fine artist specializing in oil paintings of the underwater world. Her artistic style captures the essence of this unique environment’s beauty, movement, color, and light by using brushes and palette knives in an expressive, yet authentic approach.

As an avid Scuba Diver, her experiences beneath the surface continually inspire her artwork and motivate her to help preserve the aquatic environment through conservation efforts. Joyful is a distinguished member of the American Society of Marine Artists, The Society of Animal Artists, The Oil Painters of America’, and The Ocean Artists Society.

Her work has garnered awards and accolades through both solo and group shows in museum and fine art galleries across the country, as well as in publications such as Southwest Art and Fine Art Connoisseur.

Recently her work has been featured in the American Society of Marine Artists 18th National Museum Exhibition Tour and the Society of Animal Artist’s 60th Annual Exhibition. She is the current recipient of the Stobart Foundation Artistic Grant, and the Artist-in-Residence Grant at the Mystic Seaport Museum. Her work is represented by the Annapolis Marine Art Gallery, Reinert Fine Art Gallery, Curate Gallery, Holle Fine Art Gallery, and the Finer Line Gallery.
